Trainers gather for three days of learning and reflection

From 7 to 9 June 2024, trainers of the Association met for their annual gathering: three days of lectures, group work and time together.

The programme opened on Friday evening with an unusual session: an honest evening of stories about failure, in which trainers shared unsuccessful projects and hard lessons from professional and private life.

Saturday began with an introduction to social dreaming and a social dreaming session, open to everyone taking part. It was followed by a lecture on the anti-group: destructive processes in groups, systems and families.

In the afternoon, trainers presented innovations in their teaching and discussed ideas for new concepts at the foundation and advanced levels, together with practical and organisational questions. The day closed with a median group devoted to feelings, thoughts and relationships among the trainers themselves.

On Sunday morning the gathering concluded with examinations.

The annual gathering is part of the Association’s commitment to continuing education, and to a community in which trainers learn from one another.
